| Hey all.
So bored, so time for a post.
James has been so sweet to me. He took me out for our one-month anniversary on Sunday. 'The Foreigner' with Matthew Broderick (met him and SJP!), dinner at La Madelaine, and Tiffanys! Sarah says I have to marry him.. but I think it's a bit too early for that. Hurl if you must, but we're happy.
I was pit crew for marching band last weekend and it was a lot of fun. Even though I didn't march, it was still great. Got to watch my favorite pirates, ate awful marching band food, and was anti-social with Robby. What a night.. same as always. I'm going to be pit crew for MB on satuday, too... CHAMPIONSHIPS! Hell yeah! If anyone wants to go, you're more than welcome to ride in my car. Just leave a comment or im me : polyphonichuldre. Haha.. I know no one's going to want to go, but it's nice to offer. I can't believe the season is over. It seems like it just started. Oh well.. all things (even good ones) must come to an end.
I'm going to GW's Inaugural Ball with Sarah on January 20. Wicked excited about that. Get to buy a new dress! Just like prom.. only in DC, with ex-presidential candidates, in a REALLY nice hotel. FUN TIMES!
I appologize for this possibly over-zealous post. I'm going shopping tomorrow, so I'm really giddy! G'nite!
r - i am so sorry and i am praying for you and your family
| okay, I haven't slept for like, 78 hours (I'm in a contest) and I have nothing better to do than update my xanga. Isn't that sad?
Halloween was really fun.. I got Hallo-wasted with Mackenzie and friends and watched Jason's elite copy of Pizza Sluts (only the greatest and most disgusting porno of all time) for the third time. I <3 halloween. My costume wasn't really a costume... I put on my jean skirt and a cowboy shirt and a cowboy hat and boots. 3 guesses what I was!!! But yeah, it was a fun night.
Right now, I'm waiting for class to start and NOT doing my english essay draft #6096 (I'm serious.. we've had like, 8 drafts due already). Oh well. I've been sick.. I didn't know what to do. BAH!
Oh.. so in other news, I'm not going to the University of London. Be bummed if you will, but my mom and I had a LONG talk and decided it wasn't really a good idea to go in February. Fear not, young grasshoppers, I am staying at NCC for the winter/spring semester (NCC blows.. I hate it so much) and then transferring to either Colorado Boulder, Indiana Bloomington, or Maryland College Park. All of which would be awesome. Anyways... I'm due in for a meeting with the Insomniac Club in a few minutes before class.
STAY CLASSY and..................
GO VOTE!
please, go out and vote today if you are eligible. I know that it's cheesy because everyone says, "this is the most important election of your life," but truly, it can be. For the first time the two candidates have a huge disparity between their policies, which can only lead to a stronger America. Do you want to be able to pay for college? Do you want to have the right to choose to have an abortion? Do you want to see that all citizens - even those with 'alternative lifestyles' - are treated fairly? YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE! PLEASE, EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT TO VOTE! BUT VOTE AS AN INFORMED CITIZEN! I've include both pro-Kerry and pro-Bush websites, so check them out!
John Kerry's official website George Bush's official website John Kerry is a Douche Bag but I'm Voting for Him Anyway (why you should vote for John Kerry, even if you think he's a douche bag) Damned Big Difference (compare the views of candidates) Ralph Don't Run (why Ralph Nader should NOT run for president) Kerry's Scary (why John Kerry is a 'scary' chice for president) W '04 (general information site on why to vote Bush)
JOHN KERRY/JOHN EDWARDS '04!

| Hey again.
I just wanted to let you all know that you should be reading this book Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell by Susanna Clarke. It's this amazing book about ancient English magicians and their magic brought back to life by the interesting characters of, who else but, Mr Norrell and Jonathan Strange.
It's very hard to describe exactly what the book is about since I'm only on page 116 out of nearly 800, but I'm completely enthralled. I started reading Sunday, and it's been so difficult for me to put it down. I even stayed home from school today so I could read!
If you don't believe me, go to http://www.jonathanstrange.com or read a review by the Washington Post http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn/A57806-2004Sep2?language=printer
It's AMAZING, and you WILL enjoy reading it!!
| so much fun in DC, but I miss my bed.
It was great to see Sarah and meet all of her crazy floormates. They're all so nice and funny and interesting!!!
We really didn't do too much, but we did go to Eastern Market today and got some great produce (don't ask, we like produce) and an awesome present for my mom. I got some GW stuff, and did LOTS of shopping in Georgetown at Urban Outfitters. FUN TIMES!!!
I can't wait to come back, and I hope I do so soon. Though Sarah had better keep her room clean!!! Haha.. I cleaned it for her because I'm anal about stuff, even if it's not mine.
Whoa. I'm wicked tired, but I'm not ready to leaveeeeeeeeeeeee.
I love Sarah and GW and her friends and DC. AWESOME!
OH YEAH. AND I GOT A SWEET NAPOLEON DYNAMITE RED POKER VISOR FOR 10 CENTS!!!!!!!! That's the sweetest deal ever!
